A voice workout log for your gym sessions

Voice workout logging means describing your exercises, sets, repetitions, and weights in a message. Jimmy is being built to turn that conversation into a gym log you can use for the next session.

What to include in a workout entry

An exercise name, the weight you used, and the sets and repetitions give a workout log its basic structure. Add context when it matters: a shorter rest, a lighter final set, or a session you did not finish. ‘Bench press, three sets of eight at 60 kilograms; last set felt harder’ tells a more useful story than just ‘workout done’.

Voice when it helps. Text when it suits you

Between sets, speaking may be more convenient than filling in a table. In a busy gym, you may prefer a short text message. Jimmy’s planned logging experience supports both, so you can choose the way that fits the moment. You do not need a smartwatch to record the work.

A gym log that informs your plan

A saved session should be useful the next time you train. Jimmy remembers the work you logged so the next session can build on it. That connects the workout diary to the plan, rather than leaving you to reconstruct your last session from memory.

What the beta will help us learn

We’re preparing Jimmy for a small group of testers. We want to learn how people describe their workouts, where a conversation needs clarification, and how logging fits between sets. The beta opens soon; you can join the waitlist without a credit card.

FAQ

Do I have to use voice to log a workout?

No. Jimmy’s planned experience supports text as well as voice.

Does voice logging automatically detect my exercises?

No. You describe the work you did. Jimmy’s workout log is based on what you tell it, not automatic movement detection.
